Do you want the hub or the rim or the whole thing Jack.
I have a bunch of wheels here.

How about the one off of my own KH400 since I now have the wheels I got from Johhny?
Rim has 1 good sized mark on it, PO removing a tire I would guess.
Older photo before starting the rebuild last year. Needs some serious elbow greasin Bud....
But it should all clean up as nicely as the one I traded to Johnny.

I have a little elbow grease left , I think I can make it shine  , I'm most concerned with rust and dents ,did you take the tire off?  Is there rust on the tube side of the spoke nuts?

I don't think the mark matters but if its easy can ya take a pic of it?  Just a rider bike , a nice used survivor look is fine  salut

Tire is till on it and I dont care to fight with it.
There was no rust when it was mounted 5 years ago.
Ding is on the outer area of rim and I will try to send a picture later.
More than a "mark" but I lived with it for a long time....

Steve (and anyone else) - I have found the easiest way to not have to "fight" taking off an old tire/tube (that is shot anyway) is to get out the Sawzall - just protect the rim as you cut through the tire. Use a Sawzall blade fpr steel - as you will be cutting through the steel cords on old tires. As you cut through the outer tire - use your tire irons to lift up and keep the bead away from the rim as you cut.

Steve - remember the old short tire irons that "hook" over the spokes ? - they work well to keep the bead away from the rim.

Yeah if I had a Swazall that would be great.
I used my Ryobi circular saw on one last year.
It worked, but if you pry the bead away enough a pair of bolt cutters works too.

hahhaha
